We bringing our „Retreat“ Story to an end. After Hauke Freer (Souldiction 21) we ´ve got the other half of the Retreat Label, QUARION.
Quarion has been in the music scene for a long time. First and foremost, he’s a music lover and collector with an interest in all kinds of Music, but in the last few years, house music has been his main passion. He has an almost endless list of Releases and Remixes. Our favourite Quarion remix is possibly his remix of Jamie Loyd’s „May I“. He’s released tunes for Drumpoet Community, Mental Groove, Plak, Mood Music, Dirt Crew Recordings, and many more...
Last year, with Hauke he founded the beloved „Vinyl only“ Label „Retreat“, on which almost every release has been sold out, (thank to all Vinyl lovers by the way).
We played the Retreat 07 by Iron Curtis in SD 31 and we´ve heard that the Test pressings of Retreat 08 have arrived.
He also plays keys and does background vocals in a Synth Pop Band called „Jules Etienne“, they have been already invited to play at the Morning Show for the German television channel ZDF Television.
So, for us he grabbed the chance to do a non-house mix and did a lovely HipHop Mixtape with some of his favourite Tracks.
